Looking for senior-level and junior-level Java Developers.

$60-$125K

Involves development of the following:
-Maintaining and upgrading the firm’s in-house messaging infrastructure which is responsible for moving data from core static databases to the various trading systems and processes.
-Development of Messaging system replacement using Sybase RTDS and Tibco messaging
-Maintenance and development of monitoring processes and screens to view/audit all messaging traffic.
-Maintenance and development of in-house Give-Up Matrix system.
-Maintenance and development of Global Middle Office (GMO) Confirm Server and FX Option Trade converter/feed process.
-Additional to above development tasks, candidates will act as point of contact for Sybase/SQL questions from other teams

-Fixed Income Trading Principles
-Fixed Income and FX Securities Fundamentals
-General understanding of Customer Relationship and trading accounts

Skill Set (Mandatory):
-Java Gui/Server Programming – 3-7yrs
-Java Messaging (JMS) – 1-3yrs
-Messaging Queueing Technology (Tibco, MQ Series, etc.) – 1-3yrs
-Weblogic or TomCat Web Tier experience.
-Extensive knowledge of Spring framework
-Sybase RDBMS Platform 12.5.x and higher – 3-7yrs
-Extensive Query Writing as well as DDL and DML object creation – 3-7yrs
-Unix and Microsoft Operating Systems
-Unix Shell Scripting – 1-3 yrs
-Source Control Software (Perforce, used here)
-HTML/JavaScript/XML and Web Page Design
